THE GLAZED TILE.
“Hmmm, Scintillating”,
The rich aroma of the capuccino acted as a catalyst to his intriguing thoughts, the book slipped from his hand and landed flat on the tiled floor, but he seemed to be so engrossed in his thought that he hardly felt the relief of mass from his hand.
“Excuse me, your book”
He turned and stared directly into the eyes, they were intense and beautiful.
He was left captivated and forgot about his book.
“Mr. Your book”, the voice was intense.
“Oh, thank you, I was lost.”, He said with a glint of smile passing his face.
“Ha that must be quite a thought.” An irritant look glanced her face.
“Yes, I’m a scientist, at the atomic research institute. I’m waiting for a reporter.”
“ You must be Dr. Joe then, I’m Sarah reporter from the crime age. ”, She quickly whisked her id.
“I ain’t interested in your id, tell me the code word.”, He spoke with caution.
“Number 666, is resurrected.”
“Did you bring the recorder, because what I’m going to state is very crucial and the whole world is at stake.”
A sense of horror gripped her cold spine, “ What, are you saying Dr .Joe? are, they planning a nuclear warfare?”
“No, it is worse than that.”
“What could be worse?”
“I don’t think it is safe in here, lets go somewhere else, be quick”
Just about when they got up to leave a man huge in stature, dressed in suit and a blue tie with kiddy boots approached them and said, “Excuse me, rot in hell u freaking maggots.”
Before they could respond he quickly flashed his silencer and pumped bullets into them creating a low intensity sound, he stared directly into their eyes they were filled with horror, the blood slowly oozed out and they gripped each other real hard until they sank in to the hands of death.
He searched their pockets, their bags and he pulled his communicating device and said, “The doctor is a freak, he ain’t got anything in here.”
“Check the woman, search every nook and corner you numb skull.”
“Yes boss.”, He searched again but to his dismay found nothing.
Suddenly few men rushed in to the cafe they were huge and had guns with them “hey, let’s dispose the carcass.”,said one among them.
“Do it silently without commotion.”,said the voluminous man in blue tie authoritatively.
The book that had slipped from the doctor's hand lay flat on the glazed tile and had gone unnoticed.
